
This slow cooker French onion chicken can be easily prepared in the morning for a home cooked meal at night.

INGREDIENTS
2 lbs Chicken Breasts, Sliced into Filets Lengthwise
1 Large Sweet Onion, Thinly Sliced
2 tbsp Ghee, Melted
2 tsp Minced Garlic
1.5 cups Beef Broth
½ cup Noble Made Citrus & Herb Marinade
½ tsp Dried Thyme
OPTIONAL: 1/3 cup Gruyere or Swiss Cheese, shredded
Salt & Pepper to Taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a medium sized bowl, whisk together ghee, thyme, minced garlic, beef broth and Noble Made Citrus & Herb Marinade.
- Add in sliced onions to the bottom of a crockpot and pour in half of beef broth marinade mixture and stir to fully coat onions.
- Layer the chicken breast filets over the onions. Pour remaining marinade over chicken breast and cover crock pot.
- Cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours. Serve chicken breasts with onions on top. OPTIONAL: Add gruyere or swiss cheese on top of chicken breasts during last 30 minutes of cooking
