Chowing Down on National Hamburger Day

There’s just something about a well-made hamburger that can make any day better! And while the exact origins of the modern-day hamburger can be disputed, many credit the city of Hamburg, Germany with combining two slices of bread and a ground beef steak into a "hamburger” sandwich. Others say it was the Port of New York where the modern-day hamburger first was sold. Regardless of its origin, the hamburger is a true American favorite and we’re celebrating it for National Hamburger Day!
